A Lesson From Bible Study

God made a covenant with Abram. "Leave here and I will make you the father of many nations". And so in faith Abram sets out for a foreign land. God changes Abram's name to Abraham. The name is a constant reminder of the covenant. It means...father of many.

I wonder where did Abraham's faith come from? He believes what God says even though he has only two sons. How does the number 2 become the number of stars in the sky?

Hebrews says, "Faith is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see."









We have returned from lunch and are enjoying some much needed cabin time. Clouds are thundering and the sky is dark.





Still we are safe in our cabin. Maybe I'll catch a much needed nap.
