So today I want to give a few shoutouts to those who walked miles, handled headaches and giggling late into the night...for enduring the heat, baiting fishing hooks, and kayaking to far off places...for sleeping in lumpy beds and waking early...for sharing yourself and Christ with our kids.

David better known as Super Dave around here. I'm pretty sure we went to camp at some point together growing up...but he was in the older camp...much older camp.
and to Lacy and Cassie. I brought them to camp as teens...this week they are counselors to teens. Now that I think about it...this might be a little scary.
and to Jerri Lykins who is always willing to serve and an awesome friend.
and to these four...K-Ro, Ronni, Patrick and Ryan. Most of them came to camp with me for the first time. Rumor has it Patrick was homesick and I told him to "get over it and have a good time". I don't remember that? College aged kids giving back warms my heart.
