Holy Ground

For me, this is holy ground. Driving into the place with seven vehicles containing some 70 people did not lend itself to feeling holy. Two hours later I think we are all settled in the right cabins, with the right counselors, and most importantly with a roommate we know.

Nothing about that seems holy either. We swim and play silly games decorate our cabin. I'm quietly waiting for that feeling I usually get when I drive onto this campus.

....nothing yet.

Then we are off to crafts.

I breathe deep, reminded of the one reason I come...bringing kids...other adults. The image of God surrounds me here. In smiling faces and curious questions, I see Jesus.
