Can you hear me now?

Oh the fun an afternoon brings
...mid-high campers just hanging out

...boys playing games

...swimmers
...divers and tricksters

...crafters
...ga-ga ball
...and our own Tristan won gorilla-man-gun game (some form of paper-rock-scissors that I don't quite get).  But yeah for Tristan...don't worry there are no real guns or gorillas at camp.  Though I have definitely seen some monkeying around.

We were challenged last night to put ourselves in a position where we might hear God asking us "can you hear me now."  I walk back to my cabin to the music of nature at night and I hear the question "can you hear me now?"

It is the only time and space we can hear God speak...now...in this moment.  Every camper's smile, every counselor's encouragement, every game, every discussion...every voice singing...tear falling...hands lifting...these were the moments that made up an entire day of hearing His voice...now.

From the quiet cabins of Lakeview...we prepare to get some rest...lights out.
