Last Day....

 

Our last full day of camp brings a new energy to us all.  It is the last day...to do the things that we love just one more time.  This year's theme "set apart" would not be complete without the connections we make here. 

 There is something very special about feeling connected.

It puts smiles on our faces.

It encourages us to move past our fears and climb higher.

This connecting with God and others gives us freedom.  Freedom to be silly and serious...freedom to have wet hair...freedom to just be ourselves.  That is not always easy in today's world.

This one shouts at me from across the field.  She waves and I hear her say,
"I LOVE YOU MRS. STACY!!"  My heart melts a little as I wave and smile and go on my way.  That's what love does...melts hearts.  And I believe every time we say it...we become just a little more connected.  Now I am off to as many worship services as I can get to...
