Summer Camp...July 7th-11th
Movie Camp is back...yeah! Every Wednesday we will meet at the movie theater. Entrance to the movie is free and snacks are usually around $5.00 for drink, candy, and popcorn.

Are we having VBS this year? Well sort of is the answer to that question. I have been inspired by the kids on Wednesday to take a different approach to VBS this year. This year on Wednesdays we added a missions option. Kids in this option pack food bags for our food pantry that serves the hungry in our area on Thursdays. It was a big hit! I got the message loud and clear...kids love to serve others. So this summer we are having Kids in Mission. It is a four day event where kids will have the opportunity to give back to their community, nation, and world. We will help out in a local park, pack art supplies for Art Feeds, and pack 10,000 meals for those in need around the world. It's a big goal, but "in Christ all things are possible". So mark your calendars now...you will not want to miss this!

Oh, and I almost forgot. We've already taken on a community mission. The Children's Ministry has agreed to steward one of the Free Little Libraries going up in Jacksonville. It's a wonderful way to share the love of reading with others. You can guess we need lots of new or gently used books for all ages. Donations can be brought to the church office. Help us reach our goal of 150 books by the end of May.
