Camping Details:
Monday
9:00 Arrive at church
9:30 Leave for Lakeview
10:30 Arrive at Lakeveiw and sign campers into camp
Friday
1:00 Leave Lakeview
2:00 Arrive back at church
Things to bring for camp:
Bible
Comfortable Shoes--we do A LOT of walking
Toiletries (soap, toothbrush, etc...)
Sleeping bag, bed roll, pillow or sheets and blankets for twin size bed
Towels (one beach towel to carry to the pool.)
Modest swim suit
Sun screen
Bug spray
Flashlight
Money for snacks and gift shop ($25.00 is more than enough or parents can purchase Lakeview Bucks.)
Medication in original container. (Medication forms must be completed when campers are brought to the church on Monday morning.)
Other items that Mrs. Stacy says are very helpful but not a must:
An old bath rug
A few clothes pins
Journal or small notebook
String back pack or small bag
Things not to bring to camp:
Electronic games
Water guns or balloons
Fireworks, knives, or any weapon
Expensive jewelry
Large amounts of money
Alcohol or Drugs
5th and 6th grade campers are not allowed to bring phones. (Mrs. Stacy will have her phone and contact numbers for parents.) She always says, "No news is good news!" In other words don't worry if you haven't talked to your camper it means they are having a blast!
